Gold Plated Magic Mirror

This is the reproduction of ancient mirror made from nickel and it is used in the ancient times for feng shui rituals. The metal chi of the mirror gives outstrength.

Metal mirrors are potent feng shui ornament used by taoist practitioners for space clearing, protecting against people of bad intention, dissolving bad chi, turning enemies into friends, attracting new love into ones life and bringing good luck.

The magic mirror is engraved with 5 fortune bats for abundance, surrounding a symbol of longevity in the center.

What the magic mirror symbolize and how to use them?

During the ancient days, mirrors play an important part in feng shui due to their reflective properties. By having mirror in the bedroom is consider bad fengshui because taoists belive that when we are alseep, our spirit wonders about. And if the spirit returns and see our reflected image in the mirror, then the spirit may get confused to which medium (the body or mirror) one should go back in. Therefore, having mirrors reflecting our bed would make us tired and dizzy the next morning.

The replica of ancient mirrors can be concave or flat but must always be circular in shape and made from brass as the main ingredient. The brass mirror will reflect rays that trigger lucky influences and space clearing purposes but never by the modern glass mirror. In ancient times, the mirror is flashed upon the bride on her wedding day to bring her luckiness. Ancient people also use mirror to clear away stale and dark energy from their face to start off a new day when they are going out for an important pursuit. Another example is rich people placed mirrors in their halls to prevent mad people from entering their homes. In the history of feng shui, the brass mirror was hung up on outside of the ancient bed-curtain to counteract, prevent, or dissipate devilish or unpropitious influences. It was supposed that evil spirits, on approaching to do harm, will be apt to see themselves reflected in the mirror, and becoming frightened, will betake themselves away without delay.

Mirrors are used intensively in fengshui to reflect bad energy. Giving mirrors to family members, friend and relatives as gift represent good luck. Presenting a magic mirror to someone would bring marriage luck, descendants luck or even a leap promotion in one's career. Carrying one would also protect oneself from bodily harm.

On the other hand, the five bats on the other side of the mirror is the representation of five blessings from heaven: longevity, wealth, health, love and a natural death.

Five bats represent the yang symbol of prosperity and they bring us extreme happiness and a peaceful life with few problems. Together with the symbol of longevity in the center, it is an auspicious emblem of prosperity, happiness and longevity.

According to ancient beliefs, one could absorb the energy from a full moon with this magic mirror and then used it as a make-up mirror to create long term beauty and radiance in ones face. The powerful yin energy from the moon would make ladies prettier and having a smooth skin, thus making her more attractive. This is called "moon magic".

Besides, the mirror could also be used to shine on someone you like to create two way attraction to each other. If you want to make friends with colleagues or people in an important dinners, absorb sunlight yang energy, keep it in your bag, and bring it along with you to the dinner to shine your surrounding. Enemies would immediately turn into your friends. You may also bring it into a meeting if you wish. Naturally, it create "infinity amongst people".

Similarly, you may use this magic mirror to do space clearing for your room and home or office space. Absorb strong yang energy from the sun, and shine the magic mirror in the interiors to dissolve bad chi right away. Your surrounding energy will be revitalized right away.

The Tai Sui of 2010 - General Wu Heng

The Tai Sui of the Year 2010 - General Wu Heng

For the Year of the Tiger, the Tai Sui is The Great General Wu Heng. He was born during the Yuan Dynasty at Xin Chang. He was highly scholastic, talented and literate and he was also the district official of Li Yang from 1426-1435, he played a major role in spreading morality and helping people of less fortunate/weak. He was famous for eliminating corruption and misdeeds by government officials when he was promoted to the imperial court later on. Therefore , for the year of 2010, it’s not gong to be a year of war and military. For those who flout the law, it is a year of tough punishment. He’s an official who will be upholding law and order. Any wrong doings will provoke actions.

Afflicted Directions with Tai Sui - The Northeast and Southwest
It is advisable to avoid its locating position and its opposite direction. The position of Tai Sui in 2010 is at Northeast ranging from 52.5 to 67.5 degrees, there will be no happiness and misfortune is ahead. This direction will have geographical negative magnetic fields (shar chi) that could not be explained scientifically. If you are involved in any negotiations, you can capitalize these effects by sitting in the northeast and facing the southwest. Then your opponent will be facing the northeast and confronting the Tai Sui. That way, you will always be in the winning position. The traditional use of Pi Yao in this area will greatly help to appease the Tai Sui.

When curing with the Pi Yao, they must look ‘fierce’ and not be hidden from view. And there must be metal element involved. Metal here refers to real gold or strong metal.. They not only protect one from difficulty, but also bless one in gaining luck and fortune.

No construction work should be undertaken in this Northeast sector of the house, including repair work. If this sector is disturbed, those staying in the house will have a tough year ahead with a lot of arguments and sicknesses. If a renovation is inevitable, then avoid commencing and ending work in the Northeast, start on other sectors instead.

Zodiacs in "Disagreement" with the Tai Sui for Year 2010

*Tiger, Monkey, Snake and Pig*

The zodiac in disagreement with the Tai Sui this year are tiger, monkey, snake and pig. The disagreements are further termed as Conflicting Tai Sui, Offending Tai Sui, Torturing Tai Sui, Harming Tai Sui and Breaking Tai Sui.

1) Conflicting/Confronting Tai Sui

- The monkey conflicts/confronts the Tai Sui directly from the opposite direction in 2010. No one can win the Tai Sui because he will be the victorious wrestler of the year. This kind of energy conflict is the fiercest of all. It implies high risk, crisis, and inconsistency in fortune and difficulty in every aspect. Problems associated to such a disagreement are for example the death of a loved family member, accidents, injuries, death, hospitalization, money loss, bankruptcy, demotion and losing a job. There will also be possible changes in the love relationship; therefore one has to exercise caution. Therefore, the monkey should consider donating their blood and doing more charity in 2010.

2) Offending Tai Sui

- The tiger offends the Tai Sui in 2010. The seriousness of offending Tai Sui will be considered as serious to conflicting/confronting the Tai Sui. Those who offend the Tai Sui will feel weak for the whole year and suffers from bad temper which results in poor human relationship. Sickness will plague you constantly and the chances of getting wounded are high. Love Relationship will also suffer. Therefore one has to exercise regularly and eat nutritiously. One should refrain from keeping late nights as a lot of evil things will happen when one luck is not good.

3) Torturing Tai Sui

- Both the snake and monkey torture the Tai Sui in 2010. When one torture the Tai Sui, the year spells no good harvest. There will a lot of contradictory problems afflicting them. There will be aplenty of gossips, scandals and bad relationship with people are going to be a norm at work and even hard work will not pay off well at the end. Crisis after crisis will occur. Crisis implies troubles, obstructions, failures in investments and blood mishaps. Therefore this is going to be a non-fruitful year for those torturing the Tai Sui. The whole year will just go to waste. The best is to stay low profile. Do more charity for the year 2010.

4) Harming Tai Sui

- The snake also harms the Tai Sui in 2010. When the Tai Sui is harmed, one will not fare well as they cannot connect well with the rest of the eleven other zodiacs. They cannot get along with anyone, always in confrontation mode and will face difficulty at work. Their public image will become tarnished and this will be a major disadvantage for those who are in politics, showbiz, business and doing sales. Gossips and troublemakers are aplenty making them difficult to concentrate on getting more important things done.

5) Breaking Tai Sui

- The pig breaks the Tai Sui in 2010. This affliction will result in one's life going haywire and behaving in a disorderly manner. Although it is the lightest affliction, it cannot be ignored by all means else it will magnified to become bad. The slightest mistake will bring financial losses. For example one is going to get speeding tickets, fined for drunk driving, investigated by authorities for wrongdoings etc. Therefore, the pig will have to be extra tactful and careful in the year 2010. Fortunately, the pig is also in good union with Tai Sui this year.

Those with the following year of births are strictly prohibited from attending funeral, burial ceremony and visiting the sick:

1. Pig 1935, 1959, 1995
2. Monkey 1944, 1968, 2004
3. Tiger 1926, 1986
4. Snake 1977

Fengshui suggestions for "Fertility"

It is unfortunate fact of many people’s lives that infertility strikes where and when it wants. The desire to have a child is a natural, normal progression in a couple’s relationship. While there are certainly individuals and couples who choose to not become parents, an overwhelming majority are happier with the idea of starting and raising a family.

The reasons for infertility are wide and numerous. Some are focused on health issues for the potential mother, while others strike the would-be dad. Despite all of the amazing strides made by the medical community to battle infertility, many couples give up after long, expensive treatments make their lives miserable. It doesn’t have to be that way any longer. In addition to medical treatments, many couples are turning to Feng Shui and fertility suggestions to increase their odds of having a baby of their own.

The uninformed know that Feng Shui is related to decorating and arranging their homes. In actuality, this ancient practice is far more than that. It is a time honored Chinese philosophy that helps practitioners create an environment rich in harmony and balance in all areas of their lives.

Modifying your home in this tradition may help you and your partner achieve your goal of becoming pregnant. Using Feng Shui and fertility friendly practices are less stressful ways improve your chances of having a baby.

As we have already mentioned, Feng Shui is intended to completely balance and regulate every aspect of existence. In terms of conception, this harmony is nothing short of a miracle. Doctors and other medical professionals will be the first to tell you that it is essential to be at peace and relaxed during the conception phase of creating life. Both potential parents will experience the positive influences of good chi if their environment is conducive to the Feng Shui philosophy. For this reason, if none other, Feng Shui and fertility are a powerful combination.

To begin using Feng Shui and fertility to improve your chances of having a child, start outside. Take a look at your front entrance. Is there anything blocking good energy from moving into your home? One couple struggled with infertility for years. When a Feng Shui consultant recommended removing the tree that blocked their front door, the couple finally experienced success and became parents. Make sure that the main entrance to your home is clear and open to the flow of positive energies. You may consider getting a clear facteted crystal ball to hang near the entrance to the door to regulate the "chi" flowing into in the house as well as to deflate any "poison arrows".

With Feng Shui and fertility, the focus is a little different than what most of us are accustomed to. The focus is primarily on the man. All of you ladies out there can take a relaxing breath now. Feng Shui is guided by the Descendant’s Luck principle.

This luck determines the success of a husband or partner will have starting a family with his significant other. Learning the best ways to stimulate this luck is a beneficial practice for the man in the relationship to aid in the conception process.

This won’t come as any surprise, but the bedroom is instrumental in combining the forces of Feng Shui and fertility. The first step in the master bedroom is to make sure it is free from unwanted and unneeded clutter. Clutter stands in the way of good energy and makes it difficult to achieve a harmonious flow. This means to throw away the receipts on the dresser, pick the clothes up off of the floor, and arrange things neatly. Don’t forget about the closet either. It should be clear of any unused items. Best to leave any soft toys out of the room.

Now that the bedroom is ready for feng shui and fertility, it’s time to add some decorations and furniture placement that is perfect for encouraging the production of children. When you think about it, it makes sense. Elephants symbolize pregnancy in the Feng Shui tradition.

A couple trying to conceive should consider displaying elephant figurines in their sleeping space. Another animal reference that will help with fertility is fish. The symbol of two fish represents marital unity. As a matter of fact, any decoration you use in this room should involve the number two.

Throwing the color red around is helpful as well. Place two red paper lanterns (or the table lanterns/lampsa that you've during your "Guo Da Li" on either side of the bed. These represent the positive yang influence and will help increase fertility. A single piece of hollow bamboo is useful as well. Once again focusing on the potential father put a dragon on his side of the bed to flame his passion and add potency to the union. These well placed items are a good way to encourage the flow of energy through the room. Do not place any plants/flowers in the room when trying to conceive, if so, place a bowl/basket of fruits, the Promegranate is recommended.

With the correct use of Feng Shui and fertility energies, a couple struggling with infertility can give themselves an edge in the conception process. The creation of a relaxing, loving home environment will improve the couple’s chance at starting a family of their own.

Suitable Days for Spring Cleaning in 2010

It is a chinese tradition to close a year and start off with fresh new energy/luck with a big scale spring cleaning (sweeping).

It is a day to either preserve the good luck, get rid of the bad luck and invite new luck for the new year. If a big scale cleaning is not conducted, everyone living in that particular household will feel lethargic and emotionally cluttered in the new year.

One could follow some rules depending on individual's situation:

Situation 1: If one had enjoyed good harvest, happy moments and generally a fruitful year, they should start to sweep from the maindoor inward into the house. This is to retain positive energy.

Situation 2: If one had suffered from a bad year, sad moments and losses, they should start to sweep from an inner corner of the house diagonal to the maindoor and sweep outwards towards the maindoor.

Situation 3: If one wants to start everything over again from square one (irrespective of good or bad year experienced), they can start sweeping from inner part of the house to the maindoor and sweep outwards towards the maindoor.

In this case, they should choose a BREAK DAY in particular and the most suitable to do this is on 2 February 2010.

The following are suitable dates for Spring Cleaning:
